Dr. Carrico is Professor and Director of the Global Health Initiative and Director of Epidemiologic Research for the Center of Excellence for Research in Infectious Diseases (CERID) at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She received training specific for healthcare epidemiology at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in conjunction with the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA). She has authored or co-authored numerous peer reviewed manuscripts and industry-leading publications. She has served on the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (APIC) National Board of Directors, served as President of the Certification Board for Infection Prevention and Control (CBIC), was a two term member of the CDC’s Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC), and has been in key positions with numerous other industry-leading national and international organizations.

With over 25 years of experience in the development and implementation of Infection Prevention programs, Cathy has contributed to product innovations, sustainability efforts, and technical training. Cathy earned her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Applied Management and later received a Certificate of Mastery in Infection Prevention from The Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE). She established herself as a subject matter expert for Healthcare Environmental Services during her career in a variety of roles focused on standardized work programs.

Ms. McClellan is the current Chair of the University of Michigan School of Public Health External Advisory Board.  She is the CEO of Occupational Health Management, PLLC industrial hygiene consultancy. She has served on the Boards of Directors for the American Industrial Hygiene Association, the Occupational Hygiene Training Association and the American Board of Industrial Hygiene throughout the past 15 years.  Prior to her consulting career she was the Global Industrial Hygiene Manager for both AbbVie pharmaceutical and LafargeHolcim cement company where she developed and implemented occupational health and safety programs. She has consulted to over 215 organizations including pharmaceutical, healthcare, automotive, food, construction, public-sector organizations, as well as the US military ensuring workers return home as healthy as they arrived at work.

Gordon has over 40 years of experience in the development of cleaning systems, program management, and operations experience in the cleaning business. He has been recognized nationally for his expertise on cleaning processes, cleaning systems integration, supplemental infection prevention technologies, production standards development, and his ability to train and motivate management and service staff to drive productivity and efficiency. He is also recognized for innovation in the cleaning business and his expertise on interiors solutions.

Kevin Brown is the Vice President of Engineering at ABM with 25 years of experience in developing mechanical retrofit projects. He has developed more than $1 Billion in performance contracts in the MUSH and Federal markets all over the United States. Kevin leads a fantastic team of Energy Engineers and Project Developers across the U.S. with the combined goal of finding funding solutions to solve our customers’ needs.

Kevin is an Aerospace Engineer from Auburn University and is proud to serve on the board of the Energy Management Association (EMA). He is also very active in ASHRAE, serving on several technical and standards committees, and holds the following credentials; PE, EMP, HBDP, CEM, CMVP, LEED AP.
